MILANO II

In the early 2000s, I abandoned black-and-white photography and switched to digital. My trips to Milan became more frequent, and the new medium offered me greater freedom and flexibility.

Black and white was perfect for capturing Milan in the 1970s, but over time, it became less and less suitable. Color has now become an essential element of the urban landscape, especially in Milan, one of the world’s capitals of fashion and design.

The city was experiencing a dynamic and vibrant phase, driven by an ambitious public construction plan. This transformation coincided with my immersion in that environment, leading me to focus on the construction sites that are radically reshaping the urban landscape.
