LONDON, 1989-2004
I began photographing London regularly in 1998, drawn by both personal and professional reasons. For over thirty years, I’ve had the opportunity to stay at my partner Clare’s pied-à-terre in the Barbican, in the heart of the city. That same year, my new friend Val Williams, a prominent British photography curator, invited me to participate in a new festival in Shoreditch.
Since then, my many visits have allowed me to focus on the area, capturing the dramatic changes brought by constant construction.
